Rental Policies

1. Rental Service

Hooray Yard Cards Boise provides temporary yard greeting display rentals. Displays are not purchased by the customer. All signs, stakes, art pieces, letters, numbers, and related materials remain the property of Hooray Yard Cards Boise.

Your rental may include a personalized greeting, name and/or age when needed, themed art, color preferences when available, delivery, setup, and pickup.

2. Display Design

Customers may request a phrase, name, age, colors, interests, hobbies, themes, and general display preferences. Hooray Yard Cards Boise will design the final display using available inventory, yard conditions, space, weather, and safety considerations.

Exact colors, art pieces, layout, and sign placement are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing. We will do our best to create a fun, high-quality display that matches the celebration and requested theme.

3. Setup and Pickup

Standard setup is typically completed around 7:00 PM the evening before the event. Standard pickup is typically completed around 7:00 PM the day of the event.

Times may vary based on weather, route scheduling, daylight, safety, traffic, access, or other operational needs. Extended rentals may be available upon request for an additional fee of $40 per extra day.

4. Yard and Property Access

The customer is responsible for ensuring the setup location is safe, accessible, and approved for display installation. Before setup, please make sure:

• The setup area is accessible.
• Sprinklers are turned off before, during, and after the display rental period.
• Lawn mowing, landscaping, and yard treatments are paused while the display is installed.
• Pets are safely secured.
• Gates are unlocked or access instructions are provided.
• The ground is safe and suitable for sign placement.
• The customer has permission from the property owner, HOA, school, business, venue, or other responsible party when applicable.

Hooray Yard Cards Boise is not responsible for failed setup due to lack of access, unsafe conditions, locked gates, active sprinklers, landscaping work, restricted property rules, or lack of permission.

5. Underground Utilities and Irrigation

The customer is responsible for identifying and notifying Hooray Yard Cards Boise of any underground irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, invisible fences, lighting wires, shallow utility lines, or other underground items in the setup area. Hooray Yard Cards Boise is not responsible for damage to unmarked underground items that were not disclosed before setup.

6. Do Not Move or Alter the Display

For safety and inventory protection, customers and guests may not move, remove, rearrange, add to, lean on, play with, or alter the display. Please do not attach balloons, streamers, tape, lights, decorations, or any other items to the display unless approved in writing. If the display needs to be moved, please contact us.

7. Damage, Missing Items, or Theft

The customer is responsible for the display while it is installed at the rental location. If any display items are damaged, missing, stolen, moved, or destroyed during the rental period, the customer may be responsible for replacement or repair costs. Please contact us immediately if anything is damaged or missing.

8. Weather and Safety

Hooray Yard Cards Boise will make reasonable efforts to complete setup as scheduled. However, weather and safety conditions — including heavy rain, high winds, lightning, snow, ice, frozen ground, or unsafe road conditions — may affect setup, pickup, or display placement. We will communicate with you promptly and work to find available options.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations and rescheduling requests are handled case by case. Because each display requires planning, inventory reservation, route scheduling, and preparation, requests made close to the event date may not be eligible for a full refund. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

10. Incorrect Information

The customer is responsible for providing accurate order details — including name spelling, age, phrase, event date, setup address, and contact information. Hooray Yard Cards Boise is not responsible for delays, missed setups, or incorrect wording caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

11. Message and Display Content

Hooray Yard Cards Boise is a family-friendly celebration business. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any display request that includes or promotes bullying, humiliation, threats, hate, harassment, profanity, adult content, harmful messages, illegal activity, or content that conflicts with our family-friendly and community-focused values.

12. Photos and Social Media

Hooray Yard Cards Boise may photograph completed displays for marketing, website, social media, and promotional use. We love when customers share their celebration photos. Customers are encouraged to tag Hooray Yard Cards Boise on social media.

If you do not want your display photographed or shared, please let us know in writing before setup.

13. Reviews

If you loved your display, we would be grateful for a Google review. Reviews help our small local business grow and help other families feel confident booking with us. Review requests are optional and never required.

14. Liability

Hooray Yard Cards Boise will take reasonable care during setup and pickup. However, the customer agrees that Hooray Yard Cards Boise is not responsible for injuries, property damage, fines, HOA violations, lawn damage, irrigation damage, underground utility damage, or other issues arising from undisclosed property conditions, lack of permission, customer negligence, guest activity, pets, vehicles, landscaping work, weather, or interference with the display.

15. Payment

Payment terms, pricing, deposits, and any additional charges will be provided through the order form, invoice, quote, or written communication. Orders may not be confirmed until payment or required deposit is received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

16. Agreement Acceptance

By submitting an order, approving a quote, making payment, or allowing Hooray Yard Cards Boise to install a display, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Rental Agreement.
